Inspired by coffee – Styrofoam head

I have always wanted to work on a styrofoam head. I found a place in town where they sell them inexpensively. Although painting it was not the easiest thing to do, I had to cover it with copy paper first, I finally got the hang of it. I went for a semi antique look. Before I could do any of that, however, I had dropped the head on it’s nose and smooshed it. In order to deal with that, I did have to sand the nose down some. After painting it with very diluted burnt umber and yellow oxide, I sealed it with Diamond Glaze that had Pearl-Ex Gold in it. Then I went to town stamping with Staz-On. Once all was dry, I glued layers of silk and paper flowers on it some ended with rhinestones while others used metal brads. I painted the stand in black sparkle paint glued the head to it and then added the metalic word Inspired.
