Last Saturday’s challenge was to come up with something to do with “eyes.” My Husband and I are animal fans and he really loves cats, so I decided to do a 4 x 4 using one of my favorite stamps from Stampendous.
It started out as an inexpensive coaster from Family Dollar that I glued dictionary paper to with soft gel medium to, then I used masking tape to remove parts of it. Afterward I painted a thin coat of gesso on it, then a wash of Metallic Blue Topaz paint and sanded that off some for contrast. I stamped my cat on there with brown StazOn, painted the eyes and then covered it with several coats of embossing powder (one of which had some holographic in it).
I do hope it is enjoyed.
